Neighborhood fossils

Provide a hands-on experience for your students with Neighborhood Fossils, one of the Western Science Center’s in-class science education programs! Available for grades 3rd through 10th and able to fulfill Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for California, Neighborhood Fossils currently features fossils from the following Inland Empire regions:

  • Hemet

  • Temecula

  • Redlands

  • & Murrieta!

During this 50-minute program students will learn about the fossils from their region, as well as teamwork and problem solving. Select from either Comparative Anatomy or Ecology focused activities and let us bring the fossils to your classroom!
