Summer Camp Internship Program 2024

We couldn’t make these camps work without help from interns like you!
Please note that all internships will have a mandatory meeting before the camps start to get everyone familiar with the structure and policies of summer camps.
Please look over the camps and pick your top 4 to intern with.

June 24-27
9 AM - 12 PM ~Small Hands K-1st (Margaret and Reggie)
A perfect camp for the curious young scientist! Each day campers will explore science through hands-on experiments, crafts, stories and games.
9 AM - 12 PM ~ Know Your Systems 5-8 (Brett and Leya)
Learn about many of your body systems through engaging activities and by dissecting a fetal pig
July 1st-3rd
9 AM - 12 PM ~ Time Traveler Camp 1st-3rd (Margaret)
This special mini-camp is 3 days of fun for all Jr. Time Travelers! Come and explore different cultures throughout time and space with crafts, games, food and fun.
9 AM - 12 PM Casting Lab 5th - 8th (Brett)
In this Mini-camp you will learn how to create replica fossils by making your own mold, then casting and painting your fossil!
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM ~ Rocks Rock! 3rd-5th (Reggie)
Have a rockin’ good time learning about earth, rocks and the stories they can tell us.
July 8th - 11th
9 AM - 12 PM ~ Science Explorers Camp 1st-3rd (Margaret)
Explore and discover the fun of science with this camp! Young scientists will explore different science themes through hands-on activities and fun experiments.
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM ~ Wild in California 1st-3rd (Reggie)
Learn about how plants and animals thrive in the wide variety of terrains found in Southern California in this new Camp!
July 15th-18th
9 AM - 12 PM ~ Camp it Yourself 3rd-5th (Reggie)
A hands on camp for those who want to create, build, and fix. Learn the basics of tool safety, how to make use of plans, and get to make crafts to bring home and show off!
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM ~ Fandom Science 3rd-5th (Margaret)
Celebrate some of your favorite fandoms through science and engineering activities!
July 22-25th
9 AM - 12 PM ~ Camp Messy Hands 1st-3rd (Reggie)
Don’t try this at home! Or maybe your parents would just prefer you don’t try it there. Now’s the chance to try those messes and let us worry about the cleanup.
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM ~ Jr. Engineering 1st-3rd (Margaret)
Design, build and create with this fun camp for young engineers!
