All campers will receive water and a snack during camp.

WSC Members: $100 per camp
Non-Member: $110 per camp

The Western Science Center is offering a supervised lunchtime for campers signed up for both morning and afternoon camps in the same week session. Supervised lunchtime is $2 each per camper, per day. Camper must bring their own lunch.
Lunchtime: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
Registration for the supervised lunchtime program is required at least two weeks before start of camp.
Session 1: June 10th - 14th
Small Hands Camp (Grades K-1) @ 9AM
A perfect camp for the curious young scientist! Each day campers will explore science through hands-on experiments, crafts, stories and games.
Daily themes include exploring colors, looking at opposites with some help of our Ice Age animals, learning about the natural world around us, exploring our five senses, and the science behind bubbles and water! Will be the same as last couple of years.
Session 2: June 17th - 21st
A Little Messy Camp (Grades 1st - 3rd) @ 9AM
Little messes for little ones! This camp is toned-down version of our Messerific! Camp with a little bit of ooey goey and whole lot of mess-making on a smaller scale for the younger kids.
Know Your Systems: Dissection Lab (Grades 5th - 8th) @ 9AM
Students will learn about major organ systems through dissection of a fetal pig, supplemented with experiments, investigations, and model construction.
Jr. Engineering Camp (Grades 1st - 3rd) @ 12:30 PM
Design, build and create with this fun camp! Jr. Engineers will discover the science behind different fields of engineering through hands-on activities and engineering challenges.
Session 3: June 24th - 28th
Messy Camp (Grades 3rd - 5th) @ 9AM
Ok, we know the word is made up, but what better way to describe this terrific and messy camp! Have fun while getting creative. From splat painting to snack food towers, this camp will be Messerific!
Intro to Animal Diversity (Grades 5th - 8th) @ 9AM
Learn about animal diversity in this dissection lab!
Inventor's Workshop (Grades 3rd - 5th) @ 12:30 PM
Discover your own inventor’s spark in this Inventor’s Workshop. Hands-on activities, games and daily invention challenges will make for a fun week of engineering and imagination!
Session 4 (Mini-Camps): July 1st - 3rd
Time Travelers Camp (Grades 1st - 3rd) @ 9AM
This special mini-camp is 3 days of fun for all Jr. Time Travelers! Come and explore past cultures through crafts, games, food and fun. Destination information coming soon.
Replica Lab (Grades 5th - 8th) @ 9AM
Learn about prehistoric animals in the Western Science Center research collection as you create your own replica fossil to take home! Learn how scientists use 3D prints, molds and casts of fossils for research, education, and exhibits while you study the ancient animals in the museum’s collection.
Section 5: July 8th - 12th
Fossil Camp (Grades 3rd - 5th) @ 9AM
Fossils are fun but also informative. Learn about fossils from Diamond Valley Lake and elsewhere through lab exercises, creating a “fossil,” and fun hands-on activities!
Jr. Scientists Camp (Grades 1st - 3rd) @ 9AM
Explore and discover the many fields of science through fun hands-on activities.
Art & Nature Camp (Grades 1st - 3rd) @ 12:30 PM
Explore the nature of our world with art and crafts! Be creative with fun and engaging projects as you explore our natural world and the beauty within it! Old favorites along with all new activities!
Section 6: July 15th - 19th
Jr. Curator Camp (Grades 3rd - 5th) @ 9AM
Explore the past while having fun making your own museum display! The week is spent discovery past life and cultures through fun activities and crafts ending with the opening of your Jr. Curator Exhibit. Campers will be taking their exhibits home at the end of this fun week!
Fandom Science Camp (Grades 3rd - 5th) @ 12:30 PM
Celebrate some of your favorite fandoms through science and engineering activities! Each day will be a new adventure from the science of magic with Harry Potter to engineering in the world of Angery Birds and Mario Cart! Fandom days include Hogwarts, Gaming (Angry Birds/Mario Cart), Star Wars, Magic Tree House, and Super Hero Day.
